It's hard to say. If it happens regularly, then yes, I might
get concerned. The problem is that there's no clear way to tell
exactly what DID cause that problem. Could be the hard disk
(VFAT is related to the hard disk), could be the video driver
(a notorious problem under Win9x/Me), or it just could be the
processor/motherboard/memory/powersupply or some other component
in your system.

Normally I'd say make sure your drivers are up to date, but
Given that you have a Win9x system, that may not be an option.

If it continues, I'd probably have a technician look at it,
suspecting a hardware problem if no other changes have been
made to the system recently.
