Hard to say. Do you have any idea when the DSP layer was
installed, and what you might have been doing at the time?
Normally MS Anti-Spyware offers the option to remove - if you
right click on it's little target icon in the notification
area, and select "Run a Spyware Scan", does it still report
the problem, and if so, offer to fix it?
Are you behind a firewall, and if so, what kind? In this case
a firewall that monitors outgoing activity (like ZoneAlarm)
may at least help contain the issue ... if in fact there is
an issue.
What information did AdAware's add-on provide?
I know, more questions than answers, I'm afraid.
It might be worth running a system file check as a precaution
as well:

Thanks for asking!
