One of the definitive ways is to download and run this little utility:
http://www.grc.com/securable.htm
It'll give you a very clear 32/64 for your processor type. (You can ignore
the other items it tells you :-).
NOW, as to whether you're running a 32 bit version of Windows - right click
on My Computer, and click on Properties. If, in the description on the
General tab, it doesn't say 64bit, then it's running 32.
