Well, there is in Outlook Express a flag for watching messages.
Select a message, and on the Message menu you can click on "Watch".
If that's happening automatically, the only thing I can think of is
that a message rule has been set to automatically flag the message
as watched. Go to Tools->MessageRules->Mail and see if there are any
existing rules that appear to be doing this.
It does NOT mean that someone else is watching - it simply means that
the message has been flagged within Outlook Express, nothing more.
It's intended as a way for *you* to keep an eye on important conversations.
