My belief is that USB2 (not the older/slower USB1) and Firewire
are both up to the task. That being said, most video equipment
uses Firewire, if they use either. Hence, even if for convenience
only, I'd choose firewire. In fact, I did, since I did install a
firewire adapter in my PC.
