I assume Windows XP. Anyway, it's hard to say ... it could
be many things. The most common thing to break games are
video drivers. I would make sure that your video drivers,
and windows itself for that matter, are as up to date as
possible. Then I'd start checking hardware ... memory test
would be a start (http://ask-leo.com/d-memtest).
