I would run several different types of anti-spyware applications.
Microsoft Defender, Spybot Search and Destroy are both free,
and/or perhaps one or more of the others.
The fact is, if it's running on your computer is must be
detectible somehow. Difficult, maybe, but detectible. That's
all part of the race between spyware creators and anti-spyware
scanners.
