IP addresses are actually assigned to network adapters, not
to computers. So, you could theoretically add a second network
adapter, then run the cable modem into a hub, and then connect
the two network adapters to the hub.

Whether your game will understand or use the resulting two IP
addresses, I couldn't tell you.
