It depends on what you were doing at the time. That message
is usually displayed when, perhaps, you attempt to receive
a file that is a type that could be a virus. For example an
executable file. It's not saying that it IS a virus, just
that it could be. There are a few IM viruses around that
propagate this way, so it's prudent to be careful.
