There's no way to know for certain without input from TrendMicro, but
here's what I would do: look at the files that are taking up that
space and perhaps mvoe them to a temporary folder instead of deleting
them. See if that has any impact. If it doesn't then they might be safe
to delete. (Or burn to DVD if you want to be very safe :-).
FWIW I had the same issue with my anti-virus program, and deleting
what I found was just fine.
